Cancel a subscription and you are back to typing. Skip Flit's optional renewal and you keep the app for as long as you use it.
The Flit bar is $15 because the license is permanent and renewing is optional. If you renewed every year to keep getting updates it would be $45 over 3 years, not $15. That is the upper bound, and it is still $387 less than the subscription.

No. One payment buys the app permanently, for one Mac. It is $39, or $15 while the launch price lasts, and you never pay again unless you choose to. A subscription takes the software away when you stop. This does not.
Flit is $39. Right now the first 20 licenses are $15, and Lifetime is $39 for the first 20. When they are gone the price goes up. The price you pay is the price on the button when you buy, and a launch license is identical to a full-price one in every way.
Every future version of Flit, with no renewal ever. Flit for Mac includes 12 months of updates and an optional $15 renewal after that, so Lifetime is for people who already know they will still be dictating in three years. It is $39 for one Mac while the launch price lasts, then $99, and it comes in packs for more Macs. Bought Lifetime when it still came with Vitals and Levers? No. The Transcribe tab, which turns an audio or video file into a transcript on your Mac, is part of every license and of the trial. Tools that sell it as a Pro tier charge monthly for it. Here it arrived as a free update in 1.5, the way every update inside your year does.
12 months of updates come with the purchase, delivered in the app. After that, another year is $15, optional, and you can skip it as many years as you like. Lifetime never asks. What ends is the flow of new work, never the app you already have.
One Mac per license. For more, both plans come in packs on one key, for 2, 5, 10 or 25 Macs, at a lower price a Mac. Moving to a new Mac is free whenever you like. Licenses bought before Flit moved to one Mac per license keep their two Macs.

Yes, on Flit for Mac. Post about Flit on X, Reels, TikTok or Shorts and email us the link. At 10,000 views we refund half of what you paid, and at 50,000 views all of it. On X it takes 25,000 and 125,000 impressions. You keep your license. Lifetime licenses and packs are not included. The cash back page at /back has the rules.
